Our Work with Kindred Hearts Transport Connection
We can’t hide our love for dogs and cats at Dyer & Dyer Volvo and we found the perfect partners in Kindred Hearts Transport Connection. We help this amazing organization as volunteers, by transporting dogs to their new forever or foster homes. Each month, we do a new run lasting from one to three days and traveling as far as Canada.
Every pet we transport has a story. These stories are not pretty and the pets need our help. Our work in driving and delivering them to a good home helps ensure their story has a new, happy beginning. In many cases, we are saving a pet’s life.

Rescue transports for Kindred Hearts is a well-orchestrated journey, often with several legs and several drivers who are committed to making life better for their canine or feline passengers. Kindred Hearts operates a complex and highly organized leg-to-leg ground relay system. Each transport has multiple legs, averaging an hour to an hour and a half per leg. Drivers and pets are constantly monitored to ensure the safety of both. It is quite an adventure, and we are glad to be a part of it.
