The visible outside surfaces of the tires, wheels and hubcaps should first be cleaned of dirt by washing, scrubbing gently with a cloth or soft-bristle brush and rinsing. Towel-dry or allow the surfaces to air-dry, and then apply a tire protectant spray to each tire to enhance shine and help prevent future dirt accumulation.
While cleaning your tires, it’s also a good idea to be on the lookout for embedded items, cracks, uneven wear patterns or other damage that could be an early indicator of tire issues before the situation develops into a real problem.
