The 2025 Volvo EX30 is an all-new option in the lineup, and it takes a spot just below the EX40. The 2025 Volvo EX40 is a renamed version of the popular XC40 Recharge. These all-electric crossover SUVs are designed to impress you with their stellar capabilities and refined, clean styling. At Dyer & Dyer Volvo, we are eager to tell you more about these options and help you find your ideal vehicle.

Performance

The EX30 has a single-motor engine that offers 268 horsepower and a range of 261 miles. The twin-motor system produces 422 horsepower and has a range of 253 miles. The single-motor system has rear-wheel drive, while the twin-motor system has all-wheel drive.

The 2025 EX40 has two engine systems. The single-motor layout generates 248 horsepower with rear-wheel drive, and the twin-motor layout produces 402 horsepower with all-wheel drive. These models have ranges of up to 296 miles and 260 miles, respectively.

Appearance

The 2025 Volvo EX30's decadently smooth surfaces, from front to rear, and triangle-spoke wheels distinguish it. Molding runs along the entire lower perimeter, adding a dramatic touch to the black roof. At the front, the curved nose has a body-colored element in place of a grille. The headlights take a unique twist with an extended version of Thor's hammer styling.

The Volvo EX40 is also available with a black roof, dark molding on the lower perimeter, and a body-colored grille. The sides are differentiated by raked side windows, deep accentuation along the sides, and almost rectangular spokes on the wheels. The Thor's hammer headlights are shorter, and the lower air vents have a similar style.

Features

The EX30 has three trim levels. Features available in some or all trims include a surround-view camera system, parking sensors, lane centering assistance, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic glass roof, USB-C ports in both rows, a Harman Kardon sound system, a power liftgate, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, and more.

The EX40 has all of these features: heated seats in both rows, an air purification system, wireless Android Auto, a 9-inch infotainment system screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and driver's memory seats.
