The 2025 XC90 Plug-In Hybrid pairs an electric motor with the same gas engine. It drives the rear wheels and generates 455 horsepower. Its all-electric range on a full charge is 32 miles. An air suspension system is optional for both models.
Appearance
The XC90 Plug-In Hybrid is visually identical to the XC90 except for the addition of a charging port. It displays modern Volvo design elements, such as the Thor's hammer LED headlights and a wide grille with the Volvo sash and emblem. Below the headlights, the tall, triangular air vents are accented with both a tall column and a series of horizontal crossbars. The sides display an intriguing wheel design with five full spokes paired with ten half spokes. Chrome lines the windows and the lower door panels.
