For drivers who crave the finer things in life and desire greater fuel efficiency, the 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge is a sophisticated option. This is the plug-in hybrid version of the impressive XC60. While many aspects of the gas-powered XC60 crossovers for 2024 have been updated, only a few updates are available for the Recharge.
The Black Edition is available exclusively with the top Ultimate trim level. This new option adds Onyx Black paint, standout 21-inch wheels, and black outer trim. Without this special package, the XC60 Recharge Ultimate has laminated windows and a new wheel design.
Other than these changes, the exterior of the XC60 Recharge is unchanged. This crossover is defined by distinguished, tapered definition lines rolling down the hood. The nose is beautified by the signature Volvo grille with a diagonal crossbar. The triangular air intakes are substantial and give the XC60 Recharge a powerful look. Above these air intakes, Thor's hammer headlights add to the model's standout look.
The 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plus is powered by electric motors linked to a four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine. The system produces 455 total horsepower. You can travel 32 miles on all-electric power before gas is used.
If you choose the Recharge Plus or Ultimate, your XC60 now has an air purifier. All other features available across the trim levels are unchanged from the 2023 XC60 Recharge. The XC60 Recharge's base trim level has a navigation system, forward collision mitigation, a Google-based infotainment system, a Panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, auto reverse braking, rear parking sensors, a blind-spot warning, and several other features. Higher-level XC60 Recharge trims add adaptive cruise control, wood trim, parking sensors on all sides, a surround-view camera, power-folding headrests, leather seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, a four-zone auto climate control system, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and more.
