 What's New for the 2024 Volvo XC90?

The XC90 is Volvo's largest SUV, and it continues to show off its Scandinavian style and excellent capabilities in 2024 without changes from the previous model year. The 2024 XC90 has large dimensions, supporting substantial cabin passenger space. The flat roof trends into a raked liftgate to optimize cargo space. The sides are elegantly accented with a double-bar design over the door panels and around the fenders. On the XC90's nose, you will find stunning T-shaped LED bars in the headlights, Volvo's classic grille design, and an elegant bumper. Chrome trim is available as an upgrade. Select trims may also have up to 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive headlights, headlight washers, roof rails, and other desirable features.

The three-row XC90 is offered in your choice of three trims for the 2024 model year: the Core, Plus, and Ultimate. The Core trim comes with a four-zone auto climate control, remote vehicle monitoring, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, a digital instrument panel, satellite radio, a digital instrument panel, and a 10-speaker audio system. The Plus trim adds a surround-view camera, an integrated booster seat, heated rear seats, wood trim, authentic leather upholstery, and a heated steering wheel. The top Ultimate trim level adds a head-up display, rear window shades, a crystal shift knob, and a Harman Kardon sound system. All three trims are equipped with rear auto braking, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, lane keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic detection, and a blind-spot alert.

The three trim levels are also differentiated by their performance capabilities, which are unchanged from the last model year. The base trim standard is a mild-hybrid, 247-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The mid-level trim has an upgraded engine version, producing 295 horsepower. There is also a plug-in hybrid engine available that produces 455 horsepower. Its all-electric range is 32 miles.
