Being able to traverse a wide range of terrains shouldn't have to mean sacrificing anything in the way of luxury. That's the idea behind the Volvo XC60, and it's proven to be quite popular with drivers in the greater Atlanta area. So when details regarding the redesigned 2014 version finally surfaced online, Dyer & Dyer Volvo knew you'd want to be the first to hear them.

So is it all hyperbole then? We'll let you be the judge of that. Here's what Volvo has revealed:

  • Enhanced Aesthetics: The front end of the Volvo S60 has been reimagined, with headlamps that are described as resembling a "wolf's eyes" by Exterior Design Director Fedde Tlasma.
  • Cozier Interior: With additional upholstery color and wood inlay options as well as a new light controls, Color and Trim Design Director Lena Jiseborn says the interior of the interior of the 2014 Volvo S60 is "like being in a warm Swedish house on a cold night."2
  • New Technology:  Volvo now offers the 2014 XC60 with the same Adaptive Digital Display seen in the European-exclusive V40. Offering the most important information pertaining to your driving experience, this TFT (Thin Film Transistor) is sure to be the focal point of the crossover's interior when equipped.

  • Advanced Safety: The 2014 S60 is available with auto-dimming side mirrors. Using chromatic glass, they absorb glare from other traffic. As a result, you get blindsided by high-beams at night.

EPA fuel-economy ratings, however, are something that are sure to surface in the near future. That said, the new Volvo experts at 5260 Peachtree Industrial Blvd Chamblee, GA 30341 invite you to stay tuned for more. The moment we hear anything, we'll post it here to our Volvo blog.
