There's a lot that goes into the making of a new Volvo. We can all appreciate the exterior and certainly look under the hood for power, performance, and fuel efficiency that meets our standards. But what part are we spending the most time looking at and interacting with? Why, the interior, of course! A boring or uncomfortable interior can be a major deal breaker for the savvy car buyers in the greater Chamblee area, and Volvo certainly agrees with you. That's why they're working on improving their already-luxurious interiors for all of you. So how are they doing that?
Volvo has just hired Robin Page to head the interior design of Volvo vehicles. Page is a huge name in the industry and has a very impressive resume, so put your concerns to rest. He worked on a vast number of vehicles for Bentley, the British luxury automaker, for 12 years. Prior to this, he worked stints at Rolls-Royce and Bugatti. And before even that, he started his career with an apprenticeship at Jaguar. All of us here at Dyer & Dyer Volvo are certainly impressed by this interior intellectual's experience.
Volvo has always been dedicated to bringing elegance and comfort to drivers, but now that Page is on the team, the gloves are truly off. Volvo's plans to challenge Germany's three major luxury brands are coming to fruition and said competitors should be quaking in their boots. In 2014, the redesigned Volvo XC90 will be Page's first project and we simply can't wait to see what lofty heights he raises the bar to.
