Volvo Cars had an excellent March sales month. It reported a 9.3 percent year-on-year surge on the back of double-digit growth in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and African regions. To put that into perspective, total sales for the month came out to 57,158 cars, compared to 52,279 vehicles sold last year.
Volvo saw a high demand for cars from the new 90 series, a significant factor in the brand’s positive sales performance. The XC60 also remained a best-selling model, especially in North America.
The Americas reported sales of 6,687 vehicles, of which 5,356 were sold in the United States. The most popular model in the country was the XC60, with the XC90 acting as a close runner-up.
