2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plus vs 2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Ultimate

Serving Chamblee, GA

The XC60 is the largest SUV offered by Volvo in the 2024 model year, and it is available with a plug-in hybrid version known as the XC60 Recharge. While the gas-powered XC60 is available in three trim levels, the XC60 Recharge is offered with only the top two trim levels. These are the Recharge Plus and the Recharge Ultimate. What can you expect from these trim levels?

Performance

The 2024 XC60 Recharge has the same engine across its trim levels: a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit combined with an electric motor. This plug-in hybrid powertrain has rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The XC60 Recharge has an all-electric driving range of 33 miles, and you can recharge the battery at home in five hours. The Recharge Ultimate is available as an upgrade with an air suspension system.

Appearance

The XC60 Recharge has sophisticated Scandinavian styling, and there are only a few minor differences in exterior features between the Plus and Ultimate trim levels. The front end is distinguished by Thor’s hammer LED headlights as well as a rectangular chrome grille with Volvo’s sash design. A linear element crosses through the front air inlets. The sides reveal a flared-spoke wheel design as well as chrome accents over the lower door panels. The doors also have both rounded contouring and crisp definition. The Plus trim has 20-inch wheels, headlight washers, roof rails, and a panoramic sunroof. The Ultimate trim has these same features with upgraded, 21-inch wheels.

Features

If you select the 2024 XC60 Recharge Plus, your crossover will delight you with wood and leather interior materials, heated seats in both rows, a surround-view camera, a traffic sign reader, lane keeping, parking sensors, a driver attention warning, a four-zone auto climate control system, remote vehicle monitoring, a Google navigation system, a 9-inch infotainment system screen, Apple CarPlay, a premium audio system, and other equipment. The Ultimate trim level builds on these features with a Harman Kardon audio system, rear window shades, a head-up display, and side bolsters. The optional features for the Ultimate are a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, massaging front seats, and wool blend upholstery.
