Performance
The standard gas engine for the 2024 Volvo XC60 is a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter system with a mild-hybrid component. The XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid has a rear-mounted electric motor with the same turbo four-cylinder gas engine. It delivers 455 combined horsepower and has an all-electric range of 35 miles. The powertrains have standard all-wheel drive and an automatic eight-speed transmission.
Appearance
Except for the charging port on the XC60 Recharge Plug-In-Hybrid, there are no differences in style between the XC60 and the PHEV. The look is regal, with deep accents and swollen curvature through the sides and hood. The front end is distinguished by hammer-style headlights, a chrome band running across the air vents, and a small, sash-trimmed grille. Based on the trim selected, the XC60 and the PHEV version may have a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels or larger, roof rails, sound-reducing glass, adaptive headlights, summer performance tires, headlight washers, and other gear.
Features
The entry-level trim for both models has Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a Google infotainment system, a 9-inch infotainment system screen, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assistance, auto reverse braking, leather, and rear parking sensors. The higher trims for both vehicles add leather upholstery, wood trim, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, lane keeping assistance, a Harman Kardon sound system, a head-up display, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, a heated steering wheel, massaging front seats and others.
