Performance
In 2024, the XC60 will no longer have front-wheel drive. All trim levels now have standard all-wheel drive. In addition, the B6 engine that was offered in the 2023 XC60 is eliminated in the new model year. The B5 engine is a four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter, mild-hybrid engine that produces 247 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid system is also available, and it has an electric motor and a 247-horsepower, gas-powered engine. The total output is 456 horsepower.
Appearance
The updates to the exterior of the 2024 XC60 are subtle. For example, a dark gray hue replaces the black paint option. The 2024 XC50 Ultimate now has 20-inch wheels and laminated windows. In addition, the Ultimate is available with a new appearance package. The Black Edition package adds unique 21-inch wheels, black outer trim, and Onyx Black paint. The lovely XC40 is designed with a low-profile, sleek shape, and thick accent line over the doors. The front is beautifully designed with Thor's hammer headlights and a chrome bar crossing the lower air vents.
Features
One minor change is introduced in the 2024 XC60. The air purifier is now standard for the XC60 Plus and Ultimate. The many other features offered in the 2024 Volvo XC60 are also available in the 2024 XC60. Some of these features include massaging front seats, a power liftgate, a Harman Kardon audio sound system, leather seats, heated seats for both rows, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, a four-zone auto climate control system, Apple CarPlay, a Google infotainment system, a navigation system, and other notable features.
