We were excited when Volvo first announced the S90 back in 2016. We know that the Volvo name carries a promise of quality, and we couldn't wait to see what its new entry was like. Volvo hit it out of the park with the brand-new 2017 Volvo S90. The first entry in the S90 line was already a top contender for the North American Car of the Year. Although it didn't win, it came in a respectable third place. Although we think it should have won, we're still pretty pleased with the result.

Just a year after the Volvo XC90 SUV went home with top honors in the form of the 2016 North American Truck/Utility of the Year, the all-new 2017 Volvo S90 has been named a finalist for the 2017 North American Car of the Year award. Our team at Dyer & Dyer Volvo has been impressed with this refreshed model since its first day in our Chamblee, GA showroom, with its impressive pair of turbocharged and supercharged 4-cylinder powertrains and advanced focus on semi-autonomous safety features.

The 2017 Volvo S60 features only minor changes from last year, and continues to be a high-quality compact luxury sedan that's tuned more for comfort than sport, although the available engine options and torque vectoring make it a satisfying experience behind the wheel. Steve Hammes, auto critic for TestDriveNow, likes the S60 very much and calls it fun to drive - on the forgiving side but not at all sloppy, and certainly among the most comfortable rides in its class.
